DESCRIPTION
SKIMO / MOUNTAINEERING
DIRECTIONAL / CARVING
All new for 23/24, the SR61 BC is an ultralight race ski designed to perform with as much power downhill as it preserves on your ascent. Fast? Definitely! But the SR Series has a wider range of utility than you’d expect from a race ski.
A meticulously engineered paulownia core and double carbon-weave construction lend themselves to a ski that is both lightweight and responsive. The early-rise tip and wide shovel provide for sufficient float early in a race or your daily dawn patrol, while a hard-working tail keeps you on top through the last lap across the hardpack. It’s a short ski with a long running length and camber underfoot, giving you stability at speed and the ability to execute quick and controlled turns.
The SR Series is designed to ski fast, ski well, and ski easily. In a Skimo race, you want to get to the bottom as quickly as possible. The SR61 is as capable of a full-throttle beeline descent, of course. What sets it apart is its ability to carve quick turns, allowing you to effortlessly navigate whatever obstacle might present itself. For the fitness skier, all the better: you may as well enjoy a few turns if you’re gonna get that heart rate going.
Why simply go fast when you can go fast AND do it with style? You look great in tights, by the way.

CONSTRUCTION
PAULOWNIA / DOUBLE CARBON
